We, as instructors during a test cannot be against the students. We need to be in their side
and do everything to help and push them forward. Especially brand new students. The factor that they are very nervous to something
new and the pressure of being watched by their friends makes them forget and mix up things. They also understand that the
test for the color belt will be much more difficult than that and the examination more severe. So, experiencing it for the
first time makes them appreciate the information we share better and also makes them increase their efforts in the perspective
of actually study our curriculum and dominate it.
We like to hand the sheet back to every student in the next day and make them work together in groups
of 3 to correct everybody mistakes! They present what they trained to the other groups and everybody practice the whole thing
(all mistakes).
As you can see we keep the test in a fun environment. Why not have some laughs?
